Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These Terms govern your use of the yNeurals website and the yMussel service ("Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
yMussel is a decoy-based intrusion-detection tripwire for Microsoft 365. It plants a decoy account in your tenant and alerts you when it is touched. It operates on a read-only basis, using only the access you explicitly grant.
2. What the Service is — and is not
yMussel is a tripwire, not a complete security solution. It does not replace firewalls, endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication, or other controls, and it does not guarantee detection of every attack. It is designed to detect access to the decoy it monitors. You remain responsible for your overall security posture.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and the consent needed for the Service to operate.
- Use the Service only for your own organization’s lawful security monitoring.
- Keep your account credentials and alert channels secure.
4. Data and privacy
Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
5. Availability
We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Detection timing depends in part on Microsoft’s systems (for example, how quickly sign-in activity becomes available), which are outside our control.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, yNeurals is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from a security incident the Service did not or could not detect. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Fees and term
Fees, billing, and cancellation are as agreed in your order or subscription. You may stop using the Service at any time; on termination we will cease processing and delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Questions: privacy@yneurals.com — yNeurals Inc, a Delaware corporation, United States. Mailing address: 4732 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19120, USA.
